Disruption and transformation

We landed a plane and saved 164 passengers 🛩

This Boeing 737 simulation was definitely the highlight of the past week’s course on Disruption and Transformation as part of my MBA studies.

The course followed adult learning theory and was deliberately designed to put students in highly stressful crisis situations to enhance learning. It improved my tolerance for ambiguity, psychological resiliency, situational awareness and dynamic strategic thinking.

Working on a number of cases made the application of organisational health assessment, resilience, business model development, weak signal monitoring, digital transformation and other executive strategy tools practical and fun.

I look forward to using these frameworks and learning in my projects.
